Space Shuttle Colombia
April 14, 1981 - February 1, 2003

On February 1, 2003 the space shuttle Columbia was destroyed by a tragic accident during reentry. The crew of seven was lost, along with the first of the shuttles to fly in space. Although I don't believe anything could be truly adequate, I have created this page to honor their memories and the memories of all that have lost their lives in the human exploration of space.
