The R varient is designed as a missile platform / Gargo / Ammo /maintenance support vehicle with 15 tons cargo space. Note that the standard speed has remained the same thoughout the series, allowing all of these units to perform in Packs, and have proven quite successful throughout all tests.
The R varient mounts a smaller turret, which is also a Crane for moving larger ammo reloads to the D varient. The crane also allows for mechanical repairs to be made such as removing engines, turrets, and other maintenance support functions.
