The Rabbit Punch, was designed around the same idea of
the Hollander. But the Quad design was done for many
reasons. Many Hollander pilots said that when they fired
the massive Guass rifle that the mech would shake
volently. This could normally make there shots go wild and
sometimes miss altogether. The Quad design has
developed a kind of recoil compensator into the mechs
legs. When the gun is fired the mechs legs "sway" forward
and backward with the recoils. This eliminates the jarring
and bouceing caused by the upright design. It also
increases stability in the mech.
Capabilities:
While not being as fast as the Hollander the Rabbit Punch
does mount better deffensive capabilities. The 7.5 tons of
DSC standard armor give this relativly small mech great
armor coverage. The twin Divers optics ER medium lasers
alow it to adequetly deffend itself. This along with the
Polan Main Modle-A Guass Rifle; the same mounted
on the fearsome AS-7K Atlas, give it the ability to realy put
the hurt on any one that crosses into its feild of fire.
Deployment:
The Rabbit Punchs first production run is slated to begin in
early 3062.
