The Heretic was the end product of the Clans taking old 
Star League Prototypes and updating the design to use 
Clan Tech.  Not much is known about this design, or what 
prototype it was derived from, but it seems to be a cheap, 
and effective design all the same. The absence of an XL 
engine is odd in a Clan design, but makes it last even 
longer on the battlefield. 

Capabilities:
The Heretic's only known variant carries a large array of 
devastating long range weaponry, including 2 Gauss 
Rifles and a ER PPC. As with most Clan 'Mechs, Alpha 
Striking is not an option, but it does have enough Double 
Heat Sinks to dissipate the excess heat generated by it's 
long range weapons.

Deployment:
Only one has ever been seen. At the time is was under 
Steel Viper control, however, it had Smoke Jaguar 
insignias. 

Battle History: 
The only 'Mech ever seen was neither destroyed, or 
crippled. Though the engaging Lyran forces had faster 
'Mechs, it disappeared without a trace.
