An update to the deadly Gausszilla, the Gausszilla II
mounts quite possibly the heaviest, and deadliest
armament possible. It's appearance has been designed to
deter and frighten, rather than for functionality, and it does
it's name proud. The 'Mech is specifically designed for
short, quick battles, on or near a garrisoned base.
Capabilities:
Though extremely ammo deficient, it can easily destroy it's
enemies in a single volley, not always even needing to fire
the full volley. With a maximum of 4 shots per Gauss Rifle,
it is not a long term assault attack 'Mech, but a garrison
force to be reckoned with. It is also very light on armour,
which is actually lighter than it's internal structure. It has
been fitted with ammo feed connectors, which means, it
can sit in a base and be used as a static defense system,
with an ammo supply only limited to the base's depots.
Deployment:
The Gausszilla II has been seen in the Wolf Clan in small
numbers, as well as in the Ghost Bears, in slightly larger
numbers. None have been reported to be destroyed,
despite their extremely light armour for their class.
Battle History:
The Gausszilla II has been encountered multiple times,
and has been blamed for even more unknown weapons
fire, which destroyed 'Mechs before they knew what hit
them. The Gausszilla II has only been seen once by itself,
seemingly on a patrol through a remote set of mountains.
The light lance that encountered it backed off when it
turned towards them, however, none of them returned to
base undamaged.
