The NMS-1A Nemesis follows NovaStar Armament's 
recent trend toward using lighter mechs in assult roles.  
When the Federated Suns' call for a pair of mechs went 
out, NovaStar Armaments was only too happy to assist.  
The Nemesis was named for the ancient Greek goddess 
of retribution.  It was designed to be a type of escort 
primarily for the ZXS-2 Zalmoxis but there is talk about 
utilizing it with the upcoming DYN-1 Dionysus as well.  Its 
high speed and excellent manuverability give it an 
advantage over most mechs the Zalmoxis would face.
     The Nemesis's primary weapon is its ER-PPC mounted 
in the right arm.  It also carries a pair of SRM-4's in the 
right and left torso.  A pair of medium lasers rounds out its 
weapons load.  The Nemesis was also fitted with a Narc 
System to allow it assist in targeting for the Zalmoxis.
     The first production models have shown great promise 
in tests.  One observer commented that it could probably 
give a Clan Shadow Cat a run for its money.
